The Mercury line begins on the palm and rises up to the Mount of Mercury under the little finger, as shown in the diagram above and in the key diagram. Many hands do not contain this line but when it is found it gives information about the state of health of the digestive system, stomach, liver and the intestinal tract. A clear-cut, deep line is good but it is better to have no Mercury line at all than one which is broken or full of other defects.
