When found, they are situated on the side of the hand between the base of the little finger and the end of the heart line, as shown in the diagram on left and in the key diagram. If you do not have those lines it doesn't mean you will never feel affection but it does mean that your emotional relationships do not make a really deep impression on you.

There may be one or several of these lines on your hand, indicating one or more love affairs. Those which are deep and well-defined correspond with the people with whom you fall deeply in love. They are certainly "affairs to remember". If a line is thin and faintly etched, your emotional response to the person represented by that particular line is not intense.
