Sagittarius is the ninth Sign of the Zodiac and corresponds to the hips, buttocks, thighs, sciatic nerve and liver. Although it cannot be said that every person born with the Sun in Sagittarius during November 23 to December 21 is either destined to be tall or have long thighs, it is surprising how often this does apply. Regardless of the month of birth, if a person is born at the hour when Sagittarius was on the ascendant it is extremely likely that this will apply.

There is also the strong possibility of sciatica or liver trouble occurring but to what degree depends on how the planets are placed in relation to this sign and to its ruler, Jupiter. Even so, many people born with the Sun in Sagittarius have occasional bouts of sciatica and pains in the lower back. When Mars, the planet of inflammation, is in Sagittarius at birth, it can produce severe cases of sciatica regardless of what the person's Birth Sign happens to be.
