The number five is rather important. From
ancient times it has been taken to mean senses, fingers, toes,
and the five great races of homo sapiens. We believe in five
elements (Tatwas) viz. Ether, Air, Fire, Water and
Earth- the whole universe.
How do we say so ? By adding the first figure to the last
of the 1-9 figure chain, we always get 10, e.g. 1+9, 2+8,
3 + 7 and 4+6. In the case of five has to be added as it is
the middle number.
Thus this figure is connected with the living and non-living
matter which may exist as a thought or as a wave, whether
visible to us, felt by us, or not.
Similarly another number with greater frequency of occurrence
is nine.

This number, owing to its various inter-relations
as explained before recurs. If we add up the figures from
1 to 9 we get 45 (9 times of 5) while adding the even numbers
we get twenty (4 times of 5) while the odd numbers (1,3,5,7,9)
join up to form 25 i. e. 5 X 5.
We cannot escape these figures in life as they occur with
constant frequency.
In the second series we find two things.
1. We start from zero and end in zero.
2. Whether we start from bottom or the top we find a certain
serial. What it is ?
